چکیده

The biochemical events by which estrogen causes rapid growth of the uterus have been investigated principally by studies of the intermediary metabolism or specific enzyme relations within the uterus (1, 2). The tissue-proliferating effect is apparent only after a period of sustained estrogen stimulation whereas the effect of estrogen on the water content and the electrolytes of the uterus is very prompt (3,4). Electrolyte-water relationships and intermediary metabolism have been linked together by the observation that there is a reciprocal relation between the transport of amino acids into cells and the intracellular concentration of the inorganic cations (5). However, studies on the action of estrogen on uterine permeability and its relation to tissue proliferation have been difficult because of the metabolizable nature of most of the available substrates, The demonstration by Christensen (6) that cr-methylamino acids are transported across the plasma membrane in a manner similar to their natural counterparts has led to the development of a-aminoisobutyric acid-l-c” as a tool with which penetration phenomena may be studied without the complication of further metabolism of the substrate (7). Brief communications have reported the utility of cy-aminoisobutyric acid-l-Cl4 in the study of the estrogen-dependent transport process in the uterus (7, 8). The present study extends these observations to the very early effects of estradiol on amino acid transport in uterine tissue.

Effect of Ovarian Induction Using PMSG and HCG hormones on Uterus Dendritic Cells Population in NMRI mice

Introduction: Ovarian hyper-stimulation is widely used in IVF clinics. The main purpose of this method is to stimulate folliculogenesis and increase the number of oocytes in one cycle. Following ovarian hyper-stimulation, hormonal secretion of the ovary, particularly estradiol and progesterone dramatically increases. Immune cells especially dendritic cells have receptors for the estradiol...

Evaluation of Acid Phosphatase Activity Alterations in Mouse Endometrium After Ovarian Hyperstimulation During Early Natural and Pseudo Pregnancy Until Implantation Time

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine acid phosphatase (ACP) activity of uterus in natural and pseudo pregnanat mice after ovulation stimulation usmg PMSG and hCG during preimplantation period. Materials and Methods: In this experimental research, 6-10 week old female NMRI mice were selected and divided into two groups: control and hyperstimulated. These mice were rendered normal...

P-89: The Developmental Rates of Early Mouse Embryos Derived from In Vitro Fertilization of Mature Oocytes Obtained from Ovarian Stimulation Using A Combination of HMG and Estradiol Valerate

Background: In recent years, a combination of hormones and agents in assisted reproductive technology (ART) cycles as a means of stimulating the ovary and developing more follicles. With respect to the positive effects of Estradiol Valerate on reproductive tissues and the impact on native genes of the egg that transferred to the embryo after fertilization, it seems that this agent can also effe...

Changes of The Uterine Tissue in Rats With Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Induced by Estradiol Valerate

Objective : Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common hormonal disorders that can lead to irregular menstrual cycles and hyperandrogenism. Reduced levels of progesterone and increased estrogen in these women can perpetually stimulate the endometrial tissue of the uterus. In this study, the effect of PCOS induction was studied using estradiol valerate. MaterialsAndMethods Adult ...

METABOLISM OF l-CARBON FRAGMENTS BY SURVIVING

Following a single injection of a natural estrogen, the uterus of the ovariectomized rat responds with a period of rapid growth, the duration of which is dependent on the continued presence of the active hormone. In an attempt to localize the site of estrogen action and to characterize the mechanism by which latent growth processes are mobilized by the hormone, a survey of metabolic pathways at...
